Paloma Mocktail

This NA paloma is a refreshing mocktail that combines grapefruit juice, lime juice, soda, and a touch of sweetener with an optional NA spirit addition.
Servings 1

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Grapefruit Juice Fresh squeezed is best, but you can use store bought – just watch the ingredients!
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice Fresh squeezed is best – but if using bottled, make sure there is no added sugar
  • 1 tbsp Agave Syrup or other sweetener
  • 1/2 cup club soda or seltzer
  • 2 oz Seedlip Notas de Agave (or other NA Tequila spirit) Optional
  • Kosher or Sea Salt (for rim) Optional

Instructions

Make a Salt Rim

  • Cut a piece of the grapefruit into a wedge and run it along the rim of the glass until all the edges are coated in juice
  • Pour some kosher salt into a dish that is wider than your glass
  • Tip the glass into the salt and twist until all the edges are coated with salt

Make the Paloma

  • Freshly squeeze the grapefruit and lime juice if you are using fresh fruit
  • Combine 2 ice cubes, grapefruit juice, club soda, lime juice, agave syrup and optional Seedlip Notas de Agave into a shaker cup (or regular cup if you don't have a shaker)
  • Shake all ingredients for about 5-10 seconds. If you don't have a shaker cup, stir well and then pour over a glass filled with ice.
  • Add club soda or seltzer water.
  • Garnish with a grapefruit wedge or lime wedge.
  • Sip back and enjoy! Make sure to snap a picture and tag @rockinyoursoberlife
